| Ace Ventura, Pet Detective is a detective named Ace who is trying to recover stolen items that were stolen from the Miami Dolphins. I thought that Jim Carrey was too strange for his party. Yes, it was fun, but some things go too far. Courtney Cox was amazing in this movie, but that's all. The plot was mediocre and the script is fairly weak. However, Cox and sometimes Carrey kept me watching this movie. The best part of this movie was the final (a very good ending). My mouth fell open when Lois Einhorn was Ray Finkle. In general, this movie is sub par, but Carrey began his career something decent. This film is not as good as the mask or Liar Liar. But if you like Carrey and his acting, you should check this movie. My rating is 6 / 10. |
