David Spade plays Joe, whose search for his family has him hittin' the road and keepin' it real with every lowlife he meets, including a sweet hottie (Brittany Daniel), a janitor (Christopher Walken), and a pychotic cannibal (Brian Thompson) with whom he has a brief interlude. Through it all, Joe keeps on truckin' . . . all the way to L.A., where a shock jock DJ (Dennis Miller) targets Joe as the butt of his show. I assured myself for another film with low-grade humor, lots of bodily function jokes and the plot is not enough for everyone. Well, 'Joe Dirt' is all that and more ... but surprisingly was not half bad. Perhaps the day of the preview I caught in a particularly good mood, because this story of a loser white trash in search of their parents who left him for dead in the Grand Canyon when he was eight years was relatively pleasant entertainment. The film is told mostly in flashback; Joe encountered in the study of a radio disc jockey who coax him from his amazing life story. In the process of Joe Dirt media becomes a darling as his story of woe and misfortune is heard by an increasingly sympathetic audience. This is another film that is based on the gross and disgusting to get their laughs; dogs balls glued to the front porch, covered in excrement, the blowing up of atomic bombs, eaten by crocodiles and much more! The film works in large part because of the good-natured loser David Spade Joe Dirt. He plays a character who is not 100 miles away from his "Just Shoot Me 'person - a lovable idiot. He goes through life with all these difficulties - but still maintains its positive outlook. The film makes a little difference in the mark of three quarters, but this is a minor objection to a movie that is not what we set out with a style much more unfortunate than their cousins. For all the fun Lotta 6 out of 10.

As a young boy, Joe [David Spade] has separated from their parents [Caroline Aaron and Fred Ward]. Since then he has spent his life on a journey to find them. In its journey meets a beautiful girl named Brandy [Brittany Daniel], a seller of fireworks named Kicking Wing [Adam Beach], and a friendly doorman called Clem [Christopher Walken]. David Spade is great in this hilarious adventure / comedy filled with crude humor. It also has a fantastic soundtrack with songs from the classic Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, The Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eddie Money, Joe Walsh, and more!
